WordPress.org have released My WordPress, a version of WordPress that runs entirely in your browser. No hosting, no install, no sign up. Just visit my.wordpress.net and you’ve got a private WordPress instance.
It’s basically throwaway. Reset your browser and it’s gone, though there are backup options. But as a way to demo something to a client, test a plugin, or just have a scratch pad without spinning up a dev site, it’s genuinely useful.
We use proper staging environments for client work, but I can see this saving time for quick prototyping. Worth a bookmark.
